Works under the Director, Music Administration & Supervision and will work closely with and assist other Music Licensing coordinators with the licensing of commercial music used in NFL Media programming (NFL Films, NFL Network, NFL Digital Media and Marketing). There is also a high emphasis on the tracking and processing of all paperwork, setting up new vendors, creating requisitions and P.O.s. tracking payments & licenses through the entire process to full execution.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include assisting with research and clearance of commercial music for possible use in our programming, updating the licensing process in our Trevanna Database, communications with labels and publishers, writers and/or artists to negotiate fees and complete clearance deals. This coordinator would also be assisting in requesting licenses and invoices for acquired/cleared songs. Following up on outstanding agreements and invoices (updating project managers and databases accordingly). Also, directing and walking potential new vendors through set up in our internal vendor system, liaising with AP department to support vendors, generation of POs and Requisitions. Shepherding licenses through our CLM system for reviews and signatures and following up with vendors on payment statuses across NFL facilities (NJ/LA/NY.
Required Education and Experience:
2+ years of experience with Music Publishing, labels, DISCO, current music trends, EXCEL, Word, various music databases and familiarity with music laws, union and related issues. Finance background or skills with payment processes is also highly valued.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree – preferable in music related studies/Music Business/Finance.

Attention to detail is a must, as is an independent work ethic though still being able to work well within a team. We are looking for a conscientious and trustworthy candidate who knows the business and who is able to contribute in a meaningful way. Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of data in an organized fashion is crucial. Knowledge of a variety of music genres is helpful.
