Coordinator of Aquatics & Safety in the Department of University Recreation
. The Coordinator of Aquatics & Safety has the overall responsibility for the CCU Aquatics program, the management and maintenance of the Williams-Brice Swimming Pool facility and the comprehensive safety plan and protocol for the Department of University Recreation.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Minimum one (1) year work experience in the field of aquatics.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree. Two (2) years aquatics experience in a collegiate setting. Current certifications in LG, LGI, WSI CPR, CPO or ability to gain within the first 30 days of employment.
Duties include, but are not limited to: - Coordinates, schedules and maintains Williams Brice swimming pool.
- Plans, develops, implements and evaluates aquatic and safety programs.
- Hires, Trains, schedules and evaluates aquatics staff.
- Manages and implements safety procedures and protocol for Department of University Recreation.

SC State Pay Grade: GEN08. Salary range: $45,300.00 (minimum) - $61,100.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Occasional travel and weekends. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
