Saint Francis University invites applications for a 12-month Esport Coordinator in the Center for Student Engagement. The Esport Coordinator will contribute to the implementation of Saint Francis University’s student life programming philosophy through managing the player and team esports experience. This position will serve as a general advisor for esports players, teams, and student workers within the Saint Francis University Esports program. The Esports Coordinator will work directly with players and respective faculty/staff to facilitate and manage the necessary operations of each team, competition as well as contribute with in-game and individual development of players and teams. In collaboration with the Assistant Director and Director of Student Engagement, the Esports Coordinator will work with campus stakeholders in Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs and Student Development.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Preferred but not mandatory degree in computer science, education or student affairs. Proven success within player/team development, community engagement, and event management is preferred. Experience with collegiate esports industry and program game titles is preferred. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment.
