Job Description:

We are seeking a Part-Time Associate Safety Specialist to support workplace safety across a dynamic, multi-site operational environment. This role will assist in ensuring compliance with safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing risks associated with ongoing operations and project works.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and audits
Review and assess risk assessments, safe work procedures, and safety documentation
Monitor compliance with applicable safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
Identify hazards and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented
Provide practical safety advice and guidance to staff and contractors

Requirements

Able to commit 3 working days per week, with flexibility to support night shifts (about once per week) and work on public holidays based on operational needs
In possession of Certificate of Construction Safety Supervisor (OSHC or CICTA)
2 years’ relevant safety experience in workplace or operational environments
Good understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices
Experience working with contractors and multiple stakeholders
Ability to work independently and adapt to varying work schedules
Strong communication and interpersonal skills'
