Job Description:
Job Summary: Christian Brothers University Athletics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Assistant to support gameday operations, athletic events, and select compliance-related activities. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in collegiate athletics administration and is ideal for candidates pursuing a career in sports management or athletic administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and execution of gameday operations for all home athletic events
- Support coordination and setup of athletic facilities for competitions and special events
- Provide assistance with event management, including staffing, scheduling, and logistics
- Assist with creating and distributing team travel rosters
- Provide support with general compliance-related tasks as needed
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by athletics staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; acceptance into a CBU graduate program required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible hours based on event schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in collegiate athletics administration or sports management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in athletics operations or event management
- Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations
