Job DescriptionThe ETSU Bucky Mascot plays a vital role in promoting school spirit, engaging with fans, and representing the university at various events. This physically demanding position requires wearing a heavy costume for extended periods while performing energetic routines, dancing, and interacting with the public.
Requirements:- Must be a current ETSU student in good academic standing with no disciplinary history
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of enthusiasm and school spirit
- Physical ability to dance, jump, and perform in a hot, heavy costume
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior mascot or performance experience is a plus, but not required
Additional Expectations:- Cast members must participate in at least 15 Bucky events per semester
- Must maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout each appearance
