The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for making the university's digital marketing work – not just look good. The role leads and executes digital marketing and communication strategies that support recruitment, retention and student engagement, with a primary focus on online and graduate programs. Blending strategy, content development and direction, and campaign execution, the position delivers coordinated efforts across digital platforms. Working closely with campus partners and internal teams, the strategist translates priorities into clear, effective marketing and provides guidance on messaging, positioning and audience engagement.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising or a related field.
- Relevant experience in digital marketing, communications, or campaign execution gained through internships, part-time roles, or professional positions.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing, audience targeting and multichannel communication, with the ability to deliver clear, compelling messages across digital platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce or Marketing Cloud preferred) to support segmented, automated and targeted communications.
- Knowledge of digital advertising channels and tactics, including paid social, search, display, retargeting and geotargeting, along with working familiarity with SEO and web analytics.
- Strong writing and messaging skills, with attention to brand voice, clarity and audience engagement.
- Experience collaborating with creative teams and working with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Higher education or recruitment-focused experience preferred.
