Category: Part-time, non-exempt, stipendSummary/ObjectiveThe assistant softball coach will support the head coach in recruitment, management, training and coaching of the softball team.
Essential Functions:- Support goals and objectives of the Athletics Program.
- Assist the Head Coach with organization of team equipment, practices, recruitment, team travel, fundraising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.
- Work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel.
- Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete.
- Coordinate practice, film, or training sessions with specific positional groups, redshirt players, or scout players, as assigned.
- Assist with student-athlete recruitment, campus visits, prospect camps, and scouting.
- Additional duties as assigned

TravelRecruiting and Game Competition will require travel.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- Prior coaching or competitive softball experience
