The NFL Media office located in Inglewood, CA is seeking an Associate Producer to oversee the planning of video & graphics for segments in both NFL Network & Digital shows/events
Responsibilities
- Involved in all aspects of daily and weekly studio-based Network and Digital shows, particularly related to all video and graphics shown on air
- Work closely with show Producers, Segment Producers, and Senior Producers on show content
- Work in edit bays with an editor to produce high-end video material, packages, and opens
- Formulate and pitch ideas for show elements (edited pieces and/or specialty graphics) as well as segment topics in production meetings
- Work with NFL Media Group on-air talent to help plan video, graphics for segments on NFL Network & Digital shows/events
- Responsible for the development and implementation of on-screen graphics for various NFL Network & Digital shows and coverage, including breaking news, current NFL topics, and stats related to show content
- May be asked to reach out to various media outlets and other entities for film/video/still photos/sound to be used in edited pieces
- Adhere to the established production schedule to meet deadlines
- Must be able to multitask and balance multiple/shifting priorities
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in related field
- Strong NFL knowledge (present day & historical)
- Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail/organizational skills
- A team attitude is mandatory in all tasks requested from the smallest to the largest
- Ability to decipher the most important and up-to-date information for all NFL stories
- Must be able to respond quickly under tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of workflows in control rooms and edit environments
- Strong writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Previous professional experience in TV production environment, including graphics, is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of live TV production dynamics and working knowledge of the equipment and technologies used in control rooms and edit bays
- Good writing and copy-editing skills
- Technical knowledge required – must know what “works” on TV

Travel
- Travel to certain NFL events may be required (5%)
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- Must work at least 40 hours/week
- Overnight, weekend, and holiday hours are commonly expected
- Overtime may be required during the busiest times of the season
