Position Summary:
Securian Financial is looking for a Product Owner to join its UiPath/RPA (Robotics Process Automation) Team! The Product Owner leads product vision and delivery for the UiPath/RPA capability. This position will collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders to prioritize enhancements to existing automation (bots) and implement new automations to advance business goals. This role is empowered to drive business outcomes using traditional RPA approaches and via driving new AI capabilities within the solution. This position will enhance business efficiency while cultivating a positive work environment for internal partners and associates alike.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
In partnership with business and the team, the Product Owner:
- Creates a compelling product vision.
- In collaboration with Operations and market leadership, develops and executes a product roadmap with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Cultivates and maintains an effective relationship with all stakeholders while regularly sharing the vision, roadmaps and progress.
- Actively engage with the stakeholders to elicit, consider and document the needs and constraints to align with organizational strategy and priorities.
- Collaborates with stakeholders and the team to discover, analyze and document the business requirements into Process Definition Documents (PDD).
- Engages and collaborates with the team and stakeholders to create and manage Agile artifacts (e.g. Product Roadmap, Backlog, Release Plan) and information needed for prioritization decision-making and regularly assesses features and costs to determine whether and when to proceed.
- Defines Product KPIs, monitors and reports on metrics/outcomes.
- Drives day-to-day product management decisions by prioritizing and maintaining the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strategic thinker, resilient, analytical and results driven.
- Leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, guide the creation of a self-organizing team and be assertive with business priorities and opposing viewpoints while adhering to Agile concepts and principles.
- Working knowledge of Agile practices. Understands the fundamentals of iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to connect and engage team, facilitate discussion, advocate for team, and negotiate with business/corporate areas, mentor/coach team members, and resolve conflict.
- Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules, handle multiple issues simultaneously, and to manage stressful situations.
- Strong knowledge of technical concepts, architectural principles to drive scalable solutions.
- Know how to influence teams to deliver great customer experience without authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience as a product owner with the ability to demonstrate realized business value and outcomes, or experience in helping product owners do the same.
#LI-Hybrid **This position will have a hybrid working arrangement, working in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week.**

The estimated base pay range for this job is:
$89,000.00 - $164,300.00
Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
