JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Center for Survey Research at Penn State Harrisburg is seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team for a part-time summer position supporting marketing and social media efforts. This role is ideal for a high school student (rising junior or senior) or undergraduate student interested in marketing, communications, or digital media.
This is a temporary summer appointment with limited hours (5-10 hours/week). Hours are flexible and scheduled based on project needs. Some in-office work may be required.
Job DutiesCreate engaging social media content, including graphics, captions, and short-form posts.
Design marketing materials using Canva.
Assist with content planning and scheduling across social media platforms.
Collaborate with Center staff to develop creative communication strategies.
Requirements and QualificationsCurrent high school student (rising junior or senior) or undergraduate student.
Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
Experience using Canva is required.
Strong written communication skills.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Interest in marketing, communications, or related fields preferred.
