JOB SUMMARY:Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications initiatives that advance Clemson University Research
Foundation's mission, research enterprise visibility, and technology commercialization efforts. Lead integrated marketing
campaigns, digital communications, content development, and stakeholder engagement initiatives that support university
research, innovation, intellectual property, and entrepreneurial programming, including Clemson's NSF I-Corps program.
JOB DUTIES:35% - Essential - Strategic Marketing & Communications Leadership: Develop and implement CURFs comprehensive
marketing and communications strategy aligned with Clemson Elevate and Division of Research
priorities. Coordinate cross-functional communications initiatives, oversee campaign planning and
execution, and collaborate with university leadership and external stakeholders to increase visibility of
Clemson research, innovation, and commercialization efforts.
25% - Essential - Digital Content, Brand Management & Communications Operations: Direct CURFs digital
communications strategy across web, social media, email marketing, and multimedia platforms.
Manage content calendars, communications workflows, analytics tracking, and audience engagement
initiatives. Ensure brand consistency and effective storytelling across marketing channels while
supervising student interns and supporting content development activities.
20% - Essential - Content Development, Publications & Outreach: Lead development and production of marketing
collateral, newsletters, reports, presentations, videos, and promotional materials for academic,
industry, funding, and entrepreneurial audiences. Support outreach events, workshops, and special
initiatives that promote Clemson research expertise, intellectual property, and innovation ecosystem
engagement.
20% - Essential - NSF I-Corps Program Management: Coordinate Clemson's NSF I-Corps program operations and
communications, supporting entrepreneurial research teams through recruitment, scheduling, cohort
coordination, workshop logistics, promotional outreach, and participant communications.
Collaborate with university and external partners to increase awareness and participation in
commercialization programming.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education - Bachelor's Degree
Work experience related to development and dissemination of informational material
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Education - Master's Degree

COMPENSATION INFORMATIONExpected Salary Range ($ 66,400.00 - $ 75,000.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVELNormal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
